Hank Brian Marvin (born 28 October 1941 in Newcastle upon Tyne, England) , also known as Hank B. Marvin, is an English musician, a multi-instrumentalist, as well as a vocalist who is best known as the lead guitarist for the Shadows. The group, which primarily performed instrumentals, was formed as a backing band for vocalist Cliff Richard. Marvin has a distinctive guitar sound and appearance, primarily using a clean sound with distinctive echo and vibrato giving a dreamy effect. Bruce Cripps OBE (born 2 November 1941, Bognor Regis, Sussex, England) known by his stage name Bruce Welch is an English guitarist, songwriter, producer and singer, best known as a member of The Shadows. Brian Laurence Bennett OBE (born 9 February 1940, Palmers Green, North London, England) is an English drummer, pianist, composer, arranger and record producer of popular music. He is best known as the drummer of the UK rock and roll group, The Shadows.
